The Saxon Model SB-3000 is a heavy duty, rotary, band sealer for 4-6 mill flat or gusseted bags & pouches made from polyethylene, polylaminates, co-extrusions & shrink films. Its high efficiency band-sealing module and enhanced cooling capabilities make it ideal for the food, medical, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors.
The three heating sections and compression wheels produce seals up to 14 mm wide in a right to left operating direction at a rate up to 89 FPM. Easy to use controls such as variable speed drive and motorized sealing height allow changeovers to be made in just seconds. Its compact design makes the SB3000 easy to integrate in any semi or fully automated bagging line.
Available options include additional PID temperature controllers, bag top trimmers, bag top cleaner, air-purge cabinet, and embossing coder. Other models include medical validation, wash down and conveyor integration. Note: minimum of 3.5-inches of free top required.
